Duties and Responsibilities

 ·      Drug administration and dressings

       Provision of first aid treatment

 ·      Reproductive health services

 ·      Antiretroviral Therapy and Nutrition

 ·      Monitoring very sick patients to referral hospitals

 ·      Collection of reproductive health drugs from District Health Office

 ·      Writing monthly reports on reproductive health, ART and Nutrition

 ·      Making necessary preparation and after care of equipment for treatment

 ·      Collaborate with other health workers meeting specific needs of patients

 ·      Adhere to standard precautions of infection prevention and control practices

 ·      Document and maintain accurate records of all nursing care activities performed

 ·      Maintain professional code of conduct at all times

 ·      Actively participate in departmental meetings

Qualifications and Experience:

 ·      Diploma in Nursing

 ·      Specialized training in ART

 ·      At least 3 years working experience

 ·      Registered with Nurses Council of Malawi

 ·      Excellent communication skills
