Advertisement for Diploma Programs at The Polytechnic Continuing Education Centre

The Continuing Education Centre (CEC) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to enroll into non-residential diploma programmes which are scheduled to commence in Blantyre, Lilongwe, Mzuzu and Salima in September 2020. The Continuing Education Centre believes in gender equality and female candidates are encouraged to apply.

The following Programmes are on offer in Blantyre

  1.  Journalism & Media Studies- delivery is both weekday/ weekend
  2. Secretarial Administration - delivery is weekend
  3.  Graphics & Media studies - delivery is weekend
  4. Business Management - delivery is weekday
  5. Human Resource Management - delivery is weekend
  6. Community Development - delivery is weekend
  7. Computing & Information Systems – delivery is weekday
  8.  Public Health Management - delivery is both weekday/ weekend

The following Programmes are on offer in Lilongwe at Falls Estate Campus:

  1.  Journalism & Media Studies - delivery is weekday
  2. Secretarial Administration - delivery is weekend
  3. Business Management - delivery is weekday
  4. Community Development - delivery is weekend
  5. Computing and Information Systems - delivery is weekday
  6. Human Resource Management - delivery is weekday
  7. Public Health Management - delivery is weekend & weekday

The following Programmes are on offer in Mzuzu at New Polytechnic Campus next to Mzuzu International Academy

  1.  Business Management - delivery is both weekend /weekday
  2.  Community Development - delivery is weekend /weekday
  3. Journalism & Media Studies - delivery is both Weekend /weekday
  4. Human Resource Management - delivery is weekday /weekend
  5. Diploma in Secretarial Administration – delivery is weekend
  6. Public Health Management - delivery is weekend / weekend
  7. Shipping & Logistics - delivery is weekend / weekend

The following Programmes are on offer in Salima at ODEL Polytechnic

Campus at Msalura

  1. Business Management - delivery is weekend
  2.  Community Development - delivery is weekend
  3.  Journalism & Media Studies - delivery is Weekend
  4.  Human Resource Management - delivery is weekend
  5.  Public Health Management - delivery is weekend

 These programmes are scheduled to commence on:

  •  14th September 2020 for Weekday classes
  •  19th September 2020 for Weekend classes

Tuition Fees:

  1.  K225,000.00/ Semester for Secretarial Administration and Graphic & Media Studies
  2.  K150,000.00/ per Semester for Other Diploma Programmes.

Application forms can be downloaded from the polytechnic website (www.poly.ac.mw) or collected from Polytechnic Main campus and Chichiri campus in Blantyre, Polytechnic campus Falls Estate in Lilongwe, Polytechnic campus Msalura in Salima and Polytechnic campus Luwinga in Mzuzu next to Mzuzu International Academy.
