Emergency Remote Teaching and Learning (ERT&L) Orientation for All Polytechnic Students

The Polytechnic would like to inform all students that following the announcement by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of staggering the academic year due to Covid-19 pandemic, the College plans to deliver modules for the next academic year using (i) face to face approach (ii) combination of face to face and ERT&L and (iii) ERT&L only.

With the ERT&L, it is required that all students be oriented on how they can take lessons remotely, participate in the remote class, submit assignments, provide feedback as well as monitoring and evaluation remotely. 

Therefore, all students are required to adhere to the following;

  • Be present at the location near to them on the dates allocated.
  • Observe set time for the training on all dates from 08:30 hours to 14.00 hours. 
  • All students must carry their valid Polytechnic Student Identity Cards without which there will be no access.
  • Students must carry technology gadgets such as smart phones/laptops/tabs with internet connectivity 
  • Students must bring their own writing materials (Pad and Pens)
  • Students must mask up at all venues and observe social distance

In view of this development, the college is embarking on training all its students from 12th - 23rd October 2020 as follows:
