The First Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences Congregation

The Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) is pleased to announce that it will hold its first Congregation on Wednesday, 29th May 2024 at its main campus in Blantyre.

During the event, His Excellency, Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, President of the Republic of Malawi, will be installed as the Chancellor of the University before presiding over the graduation ceremony.

The academic awards shall be conferred to graduands in the following programmes:

a. Bachelor of Architectural Studies

b. Bachelor of Architectural Studies, (Honours)

c. Bachelor of Accountancy

d. Bachelor of Business Administration

e. Bachelor of Procurement and Logistics Management

f. University Certificate of Education

g. Bachelor of Science in Industrial Laboratory Technology

Academic dress

All graduands are requested to collect their academic attire from the University starting 20th May 2024, at a fee of K35,000 per set. The attire must be returned promptly after the graduation ceremony, as the graduates will be collecting their certificates.

Photography 

The University has designated specific areas for photography and other businesses. All businesses shall be required to register after making payment to the University Cashier as follows:

a. Photography inside the graduation venue: K50,000.00

b. Photography outside the graduation venue: K35,000.00

c. Other businesses: K35,000.00

Rehearsals

All graduands are obliged to attend rehearsals, which will take place at the graduation venue on 28th May 2024 from 8:30 am.
