Admission Criteria Requirements

The selection of applicants is based upon consideration of individual academic achievement. In the case of mature entry candidates, work experience is also taken into account.

Normal Entry 

• Minimum of a verifiable Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) certificate with a minimum of six credits including English and Mathematics
• Advanced Subsidiary (AS-Level) certificate with B-B-B-B grade combination including English, Mathematics.
• National Senior Certificate (NSC) with 6-6-6-6 grade combination including English, Mathematics.

Mature Entry

• Applicants with MSCE/O-level credits including English and Mathematics.
• Applicants with a diploma in education or diploma in business or computer studies field and two years’ work experience will be admitted in second year.
• Applicants with a diploma in education and diploma in a business or computer studies field and two years’ work experience will be admitted in third year.
