Duties and responsibilities

• Set up demonstrations and laboratory sessions
• Assist students in working with the various pieces of equipment in the Design Studio
• Maintenance of equipment, tools, and parts
• Keeping stock of materials, organizing parts and components
• Assist students during special projects and practical sessions
• Assist students in the production of prototypes

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should have a Board of Governors Mechanical Engineering or City or Mechanical Engineering or Part III City and Guilds in Mechanical Engineering. Experience with AutoCAD/Solid Works software packages, Electronics design software packages and proto-typing, PCB fabrication and 3D printing will be added advantages.

Duration

The successful candidates will be engaged for a six (6) month period which may be extended.
