Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the following vacant positions tenable at The Polytechnic, a Constituent College of the University of Malawi.

For Staff Associate, candidates should Bachelor of Science or Honours in Mechanical Engineering with at least credit or above 

For Lecturer, candidates should have Master of Engineering (Manufacturing Systems) or Master of Science (Manufacturing Systems); or Master of Science (Industrial Engineering).

For Senior Lecturer, candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree with at least credit and a Master’s Degree/PhD in Manufacturing Systems plus relevant academic publications.

For Associate Professor/Professor, candidates should have a PhD in Manufacturing Systems plus relevant academic publications.

Major Duties of Academic Position

Successful candidates will be responsible for teaching, research, consultancy and outreach services.
